Get the Lyme vaccine, then. That's what I do.

Moons~~try human grade DE...it works!  I give it to my dogs each day in their food from April - October.

They were just tested but thats a thought.

Thing is I run the same risk, I can get lymes and I have tick bites also.
Even when they were on frontline ticks still bit.

But still good advice beetree.

I took a new picture of Georgia yesterday.  She stood in a stack all on her own.   Before anyone says anything about her grip on the tug, she was trying to talk to the neighbor and hold on to it at the same time (she really likes the neighbor).  That's about all the excitement I can handle right now.

Well, my dogs aren't GSD, but I surely do love them!  And, of course, they are the best dogs in the world! (natch!) : )

I am getting ready for to take my young male for his SchH II on June 12th, and my older rescue for his FH at same trial. I also have 1 girl ready for B and one ready for TR 1.

My house burned down in January and TODAY it got the final approval so I can finally move back in!!!!!!!

The dogs and are very happy!

My crazy tracking GSD flushed out a quail yesterday and the thing almost flew right in to me. Now whenever we go in to that feild he drags me to that spot or he tracks the Rock Squirrels.

Moons, the dogs are luckier, the humans don't have a vaccine. My vet says there is 80% effectiveness with dogs. Since my son contracted Lyme last year, and not my dog, I'm a believer in the vaccine.  And even if you have been treated, you can still contract the disease again. Never ignore the possibility of Lyme, it is not worth it since delaying  antibiotic treatment can make the disease much worse.
