I did go to the OFA, that's my  point.  Your most widely used stud dog has 20 litters yet not even 10 screened progeny and no info on his parents or his siblings. 

for a program that states they use littermates to look at trends, that's some pretty poor data to define any trend of any importance.

you type lots, yet have very little useable info.  Impressive to those easily impressed, but hardly anything useful.

Zdog -- yes, many GSD do REAL work -- others, Sports.   Which do you have -- Police, Therapy, Disability Assistant, Drug Detection, Military (naw)...... please do tell us.

OK -- maybe you can explain to me where the FIRST GSD's came from -- I was a "child" over 60 years ago -- yet you are telling me that ALL GSD's back then looked & acted JUST like your dogs do today?? 60 years ago, my grandfather just came out of the ww2 and he survived. I don't know where you grew up and where you saw what you saw..(the dogs) but I believe that the standard was written for a reason. You wrote your own standard and that is OK by me.

Yet again. Whatever blows your hair back Tina. If a dog is a Cross dog that does not resemble the standard of a specific breed you refer to. It is not the breed. it is something else.

People who buy your dogs look for your dogs and that is ok by me. They just do not resemble anythig my granfathers platoon had on the picture from the year of (geez i don't remember the year but it was just before the WW2 ended).

As I said you remember one breed I saw another. I learned how to walk hanging on to my fathers dog. Not 60 years ago I admit. He was huge I remember I could not wrap my hands around him, he pulled us around on sleds. he was a monster dog. He was a monster dog then.. actually he was a 80 pound dog.

But we remember what we remember and whatever you want to create is your business.. ain't old style GSD.
I am not talking down your dogs actually I don't care about your dogs  I dont even have and opinion about the temperamns since I have never raised one, trained one and they are way too big for what I need my dogs for. If somebody wants to buy a 1000 dollar shitpoo called the turd so be it. (actually that is a "real" dog). they call it a cross.. they don't call it the old fasioned poodle. Because it does not resemble the standard at all.
I am beating the dead horse here.. he is a mush by now and I am pissed becasue some fancy dude let his dog crap on my track......... not happy.

So let me share something --  Take the Dobe for example -- everyone knows that greyhounds were used in the original development, yet you don't hear those folks freaking about it!

Shilohs are RELATED to GSD's -- not the SAME -- just related ... yet you folks are all freaked out over that simple "cousin" type of relationship? Why don't t you just brag about your own dogs instead of trying to "put down" something you don't understand!
