My contribution is in today's mail. I can't wait to hear about Nala's successful surgery.
Dakota's mom, I was thinking in a year or so, you WILL be eligible to be considered for a "wish". Something to look forward to, perhaps? I've talked about your situation with my kids, and they want to help, too. They have jars of change that they want to count up and they'll be sending Nala their own contribution, very soon.

Come on folks, let's help here. And it would be really nice if some who have benefitted recently from pleas for help here could find the cost of a six pack and donate too. $1800 plus is a lot to raise, and if only the people here who have posted that they are sending donations are the only ones who have, we have a long way to go for a surgery that needs to happen ASAP.
I normally don't press people to donate, but this is a worthy cause, set up to avoid any improper use of monies received, and one of our own, SusanandtheK-9s, is involved to help it work out.

Your donation is very generous. Thank you for helping these people and this dog out. We should be approaching $300 or perhaps a more, given the amount of donations I know about. I may not know about all of them, and if someone wishes to donate but not post, of course, that is wonderful too. I just want to help keep this prominent so we can help this dog who is the buddy of this young child.
I hope someone will cross post this issue too to other GSD web forums. We need all the help we can get.

What a guy Ninja!!! That is fantastic and will really help boost the pot too. Thank you, thank you!!! I am sure Susanandthek-9s will be thrilled to know some money is coming in to help get this surgery. Mine was mailed too so they should have it this week.
