Keith totally agree!!!!!
I did notice on the breeder in questions web site that there are several dogs with a BVA hip score, I did check 4 of these dogs on the Kennel Club site, and their scores are not recorded.
Now maybe the KC have not received them from the BVA, but to date they are not listed. Do Americans use the British system for hips often? Just curious.

Bazzra,

Because I am in the US, the KC will not list my dogs. In most cases if you click on the scores listed for an individual dog on my website it will take you to a page showing the actual form received form the issuing agency, OFA, BVA, or PennHIP with their scores and comments shown. There may be one or two that I haven't updated to include the information on the website, but I am more than happy to e-mail a copy to anyone who requests it.

I don't know how many people in the US use BVA for scoring hips, but after 5 yrs of researching the different methods and the information provided to the breeder from the different methods, I have determined that the BVA method best suits my needs. For the moment I am still using PennHIP as and early screening tool on 4-6 mos puppies.
