I had a litter in August, 2 dogs were supposed to fly to the US in October, I got the information from Pet Air directly. The dogs did not fly because the buyer did not pay for the flight, but otherwise there would have not been a problem.

Having just traveled to Europe with a dog for competition there is alot of confusion about dog import/export. There are a bunch of countries where you are flat out not allowed to get dogs from to bring into the states because there's been issues with them lying about rabies vaccines. Not many prohibited countries in Europe but I was told that Lufthansa was not allowing dogs to fly into the US at all at the time (this was late October). Hopefully they have it fixed by now

Here's the (US) list of countries reference rabies, screw worm, foot and mouth (brief explanation of requirements for each disease preceeds the table):

Thanks for the responses. The breeder in Germany didn't think the puppy could fly until it was 4 months old, which I believe was due to rabies vaccination. The CDC does not require rabies vaccination for dogs coming from Germany to US. The litter is due next month, hopefully there is a good male that will be here sometime in March.
