I just read this article, I found it very I formative.
here is the first paragraph:
An empirical truth amongst canine breeders states that a Dam has a lot more influence on the pups than the Sire. So you want to get two healthy and champion dogs to start with but you want to focus as much as possible on the female(s) rather than the male(s). However, science tends to say that genes are inherited very closely to 50-50 and then some genes are more dominant than others in defining traits.

A strong dam I like is Nike Egidius.

In response to my above post, a strong female who I like from the past is Nike Egidius whilst a strong female I like from the present is Nitra Vom Eisernen Kreuz.

The dog I have now :-)
Because she's mine and I love her, and I'm hers and she loves me.
She also strongly exhibits the characteristics I like in Lines 2 and 4, is beautiful, has an awesome personality, and is about as perfect (for me) as a dog could ever be :-)
