Unknown,

Thank you for your comments. More and more people are becoming suspicious every day that there really was no agreement signed for many of the reasons such as those mentioned by Richard. You may recall last year about this time the WDA did a publicity stunt and had a; never before done ground breaking announcement that the WUSV was having their first sieger show and the WDA was lucky enough to be the one selected to host it. Turns out it was just the NASS, no new WUSV anything. Could this be a similar attempt to give credibility to the WDA? I struggle with that credibility word. I had to type it three times.

This announcement also does not follow the pattern. When the WUSV wrote USCA their direction on the scorebook issue, the WDA immediately paraded it all over the internet in it's original form with the WUSV President's signature. Why not this time? Why does it need to be translated and ratified? Didn't need that last time.

And,,,,why wouldn't they copy both the GSDCA and USCA? If a legitimate agreement existed, wouldn't you think the WUSV would want their two legitimate WUSV organizations to be aware of it? Wouldn't they expect the GSDCA and USCA to comply with it? Lots of strange circumstances surrounding this agreement.

What was the agreement made in July 2012 between GSDCA and WDA in regard to the WUSV?

Sitasmom:

I believe the agreement you are questioning was one that established the names of the only GSDCA and GSDCA-WDA individuals authorized to communicate directly with the WUSV/SV. I also think it set out that any of those 4 authorized individuals communicating with the WUSV/SV had to furnish copies of any and all of the communications to the other approved individuals.  I am not sure, but it is possible that the agreement may have addressed other issues also.

I suppose it is possible that the parties to  the 2012 agreement were still bound by its terms on September 6th of this year which, of course,  is the date of the supposed agreement between the WUSV/SV and the GSDCA-WDA.

Richard, can you get a copy of the July 2012 agreement? I'd like to see it.

Sitasmom why don't you ask Dan Yee for a copy?  It is afterall a WDA agreement.

Sitasmom:

I don't have a copy but I believe it has been circulated on the internet. I also believe it was one of the documents submitted to the court in the ongoing lawsuit, so it is public record I suppose.  I agree with Christine, if you are a GSDCA-WDA member, Mr. Yee or one of his board members surely has a copy and I suspect they would happily share it with you.  Since my previous post, I checked and the document is available to all GSDCA members in the members section of the GSDCA website which is as it should be. Members have a right to know what is going on in their club.

Odd that the WDA still has the below verbiage on their site since they are in a new agreement with the WUSV that does not bind them to the GSDCA.

Through its relationship with the GSDCA and their membership in the World Union of German Shepherd Dog Clubs (WUSV), the GSDCA-WDA is able to offer internationally recognized events and programs to its members.
