slam nice epic, did you picture yourself presenting a sure fire case to a jury? dude you lack finesse and yr analytic skills are sloppy at best. you made several suggestions to the court and concocted a nice version of accounts connected by some patchy evidence. tell me, can any of the people you take to court afford a lawyer?, can they even speak enough english.

clearly you have an over-inflated ego and sense of self importance with mediocre analytic skills at best - dangerous combination for a cop imo.

you fit the profile imo of a very blunt object.

and you trying to claim the US is some world leader in breeding and training gsd, WTF???

the US is like an assemby line in reverse, you start with the finished product hit the switch and out comes a pile of random rubbish every time, i mean you guys have been raping euro for generations hoarding all the best genetics and what have you come up with....the ASL, LMAO.

how many brokers are buying US bred dogs and taking them back to euro to sell to dutch, german, belgium, swedish..........cops, MWD, thats very funny indeed.

anyhoo man thanks for the nice comments re my dog, be sure and check out my next installment.

I love schutzhund and training my dog in schutzhund.... I do not like gsds bred to ONLY do schutzhund. I know exactly where I am on things, do you? Higher scores from dogs that can barly function unless zapped to hell and back is not my idea of a great gsd, that is a multitask animal, to be a gsd that was what was intended as a utility animal.  Those dogs however, make great sport only dogs and are not for me... not my thing. Some smart things were said here IMO of why a dog feels the absolute NEED not desire to go through a metal box to get a sleeve ;)

Long and short, those dogs are not for me and my dogs are not what some others want... don't talk nasty bout my type of dog and I wont about that kind of dog... I like people who have dogs that I do not want.... the world still goes round and life goes on for some.

A sport only dog cannot do this for me and that is what I need: http://hausbollwerk.blogspot.com/p/service-dogs.html    Schutzhund dogs that work real jobs. Schutzhund is my dog's day off to play. I do not see schutzhund as work after doing SAR, though it is very hard to do for points. More so than just dog obeying training and searching. It is a huge challange for me to do the right body language, commands, time my dog and I together, not fall and to get points. I never said I disrespect successful schutzhund competitors..... hats off to them. Much easier to train air scent search and rescue or to hold on to my bloodhound while it does what it loves and needed very little training for than to make a dog obediently do schutzhund tracking. It is far easier for me to train my dogs to do service tasks and SAR than schutzhund but it takes a lot of dog to be able to do both of what I need.

I am guessing that it's a no to the BH?

mewbie, looked at yr blog after i posted, disregard whatever i said, i see you have a real service dog, i admire that gsd can do such useful roles. ulf seems like a nice dog.

Married 24 years as of this month to a fantastic husband....

No worries, I gave my bloodhound to my SAR group to continue using her after I was injuried enough that I knew I could not return to search and rescue in 2001. I do not have photos on a computer from that long ago. I only had her two years, I also had two wilderness dogs and a water dog. If I run across some of the photos unpacking I will post them as we do have many on here training or at least interested in SAR.
