 "I'm back home now!"

It is amazing how good she is feeling already... a bit sore though, but I did like this vet (save for the cow and other assorted fetuses they had sitting on the counter in jars)... and while it would have been 500-800 to get in done in the city, her full spay (and everything that it includes), meds, and the office visit was still less than $150. Gotta love them old timey country vets!

She was so happy to see us... "get me outta here!"

Now, see, that's where we differ....I think the fetal livestock and such is *fascinating* and quite educational, so that makes me like this vet even more!  :)

Go 'head, Dawulf, I think you should give this vet a 'plug'....never know who else might live within commuting distance to him, and who knows? Might even prove helpful for someone doing rescue in that area, too!

Jewel looks GREAT for a 12 year old girl who's just gotten saved from a chronic pyometra!  You really do rock, Dawulf!

I worked for farm vets and they have a different mindset than the "pet vets".

She is already acting tons happier... my dad went over there to pick something up this morning and she greeted him all happy and whimpery (though not as much as normal... sore still) just like she used to. :)

I am just happy my puppy is gonna be OK!! Now she just needs to leave those stitches alone...

Hexe - the vet is in Avoca, IA... the only clinic there. I cannot remember the guys name at the moment...

And thanks everyone. :)
