Dawulf, don't hesitate for one second to send word if you need anything--I'd be more than happy to help you out. I know there's a whole crew of folks here who will rest a whole lot easier when she's had her surgery, and you're on your way back home with her. Your mom should be damned proud of you--I'd sure want to have you in my corner if I were ever in poor health and needed help, that's for sure!!

Well, we took her in this morning... felt like crap leaving her there too...
Called at about 4 and the doctor said she was awake and everything went well... and that her uterus was chronically infected and there were cysts all over her ovaries, but he didn't think they were cancerous. So good news that they're gone I guess!
Thats all I know right now... hopefully we can pick her up in the morning.

Good-good-good-good-good-good-good-GREAT News!! Not the chronic infection or the cysts, but that she came through the surgery well! Actually, the cysts part doesn't really worry me--not uncommon in senior intact bitches, especially those which have never whelped a litter. If she's had a simmering sub-clinical uterine infection going, she's probably going to feel 5 years younger now that she's 'cleaned up' in there!
