(cut me off!) cont.
Try to stay a 1/2 ring ahead of your puppy/dog unless they are totally distracted and acting up. Then get close get the focus back on you and take off again.

The most important part of the show for you will be the individual exam by the judge. During the stand make sure you are outside the ring and in front of the puppy. Make only small noises and only if needed to keep the head and ears up. Be sure to be all the way down the ring at the first turn when your puppy starts the gaiting.

If anyone else has advice please share for the newbies too. I can't remember what all else I wrote before it cut me off... lol

GOOD LUCK, HAVE FUN AND SEE YOU THERE!
I will be showing only 1 puppy, Castlebrooks Ulana, in the 6-9 long coat females.

Tim and I will be taking 4 from here and another puppy belonging to a customer.   One Working Male, one Working Female, a 12-18 month female, and two 3-6 month males.   We are looking  so forward to this show.  This year has been healthy for us and our family and we have been able to show and trial a bit more than in the last few years. We will have a silver Tahoe with a silver trailer and pop-up.   If we can be of assistance to anyone, just find us either at the hotel or at the show grounds.   See all of you next month!
