This is what you, in the bulldogs call a scatter bred ped. She is heavily bred on Lonzo Pratt's Danger and Diamond Ruby breeding. Then you start with some strange outcrossings. You have some old Garret's Ch.Jeep blood way back. Both pure and crossed with Bass' Tramp Red Boy (a very successful cross). Then you add in Gr.Ch. Mayday(awesome dog and producer) who was a cross of a cross. Being Gr.Ch. Yellow, a Red Boy X Jocko cross, bred to Hollingsworth's Dolly (Pat Patrick breeding) by old man Hollingsworth and campaigned by Victor. You pick up some more Patrick breeding crossed with Chinaman from Garner's Frisco (himself a good yet controversial producer) You also have Frisco's son Ch. Simba, who quit while on top, yet Tom continued to breed him anyway. Hard to tell exactly what the breeder was trying to accomplish here with this breeding other than making puppies?

um Jenni I never mentioned a 60lb weight and Colby in the same breath.

Didn't know there was a louis colby still breeding the strain. Everyone I've come across to claim to have a Colby dog had to go back 3-4 generations back on their pedigree with plenty of outcrossing inbetween.

Affirmative, Rick. Scatterbred indeed! I've seen her papers myself, LOL.  I thought it would be easier to post her ped. though than try to explain to you what all's in there....

I hadn't seen her ped when I picked her, actually; I didn't care.  I looked high and low and called everyone I could think of who might have a nice pup but of course they're all underground and in 2 mos. I couldn't find anything I would drag home. I actually found that little cutie on Craigslist, LOL! She was "too small" and "too hyper" and the guy didn't want to keep her. She was payment for stud fee. I wasn't planning on bringing her home but when I went and met her, I changed my mind. Awesome temperament.

I personally think too many bulldog people don't look at the dog in front of them when making breeding decisions and only look at the papers... kind of like how people breed dogs who quit on top. I met her grand dam and she was a hell of a nice dog, too. My needs are somewhat different than most people looking for a gamebred dog. ;-)

She serves her purpose beautifully. She never misses a morsel my son throws on the floor, and has all but eliminated my need for a broom.

James, you're being awfully literal. You stated both in either one post or two different posts; either way, they are not accurate. No big deal.

Jen your recap of my statements are not accurate
