This is the way I feel on dog food. If you like the results then stay on that food. But from what you are saying your dog got better when you went to Natural Balance, but has completely improved. Then what I would do is stay with the Natural Balance BUT try a different protein source. Maybe try the venison or bison formula. Both of those are still grain free and limited ingredient.

The Natures Domain (only at Costco though) is a good grain free food. The price is good and the ingredience are good. I know you mentioned that your dog didnt do good on TOTW, the Natures Domain salmon is very close in the ingredience to the TOTW pacific stream. So if you do try the Natures Domain maybe try the turkey one.
Here is the ingredient list for Natures Domain turkey....
Turkey meal, sweet potatoes, peas, potatoes, canola oil, potato protein, potato fiber, natural flavor, flaxseed, ocean fish meal, salt, choline chloride, dried chicory root, tomatoes, blueberries, raspberries, yucca schidigera extract, dried Enterococcus faecium fermentation product, dried Lactobacillus acidophilus fermentation product, dried Lactobacillus casei fermentation product, dried Lactobacillus plantarum fermentation product, dried Trichoderma longibrachiatum fermentation extract, vitamin E supplement, iron proteinate, zinc proteinate, copper proteinate, ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, copper sulfate, potassium iodide, thiamine mononitrate (vitamin B1), manganese proteinate, manganous oxide, ascorbic acid, vitamin A supplement, biotin, niacin, calcium pantothenate, manganese sulfate, sodium selenite, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), vitamin B12 supplement, riboflavin (vitamin B2), vitamin D supplement, folic acid.

Jyl...Thanks for your post,,,,I might consider using a different protein in their line....

I have never seen a Cosco in my area.....I have a Sams Club. ....

   Question...

It was my impression that the fish proteins where less likely to cause an allergy....Also, Prince's coat is beautiful....I hate to lose the benefit the fish oil provides....If it was in fact the fish protein that is causing a problem and I change to a different protien, say bison or turkey, would using a fish "oil" supplement be a problem...???..

You can buy a salmon oil supplement. Don't buy the human pills. They don't work well.
The Nature's Domain food is actually made by TOTW (which is Diamond).
If you were having trouble with TOTW it will likely be worse with the Nature's Domain, at least that was my experience. My problem with either of them is that they have been a little inconsistent for me.
I switched back to Orijen and Acana and any issues I have had went away.
Loyalville has also brought up some good points.

Some parasites like coccidia can be tough to detect. You may want to try a regiment of Panacur-C.
Buy it on line through Amazon or Revival Health. It is much cheaper.
Best Wishes to your dog!

Typically, oils are not a problem because allergies are to proteins, and oils have proteins removed. People who are violently allergic to peanuts often use peanut oil regularly (though the science is solid, my very allergic sister refuses to try and I can't say I blame her as many times as she's been hospitalized).
