Vikram
I guess your sarcasm is directed at me, But buddy you have your priorities right out of Line, Let me educate you to these facts
If you say it is all down to the breeder and You are saying that by your reply
THEN, buddy that means every Pup that is born SL or WL whatever that dog does in its life or what accomplishments or lack off is down to the breeder and the Dogs breeding, nothing to do with its up bringing or the training
Whatever Dog or live stock you get NO matter how well bred it is and again i have been breeding and studying Pedigrees for around 60 years in a species which its breeding is FAR more complex and  complicated than Dogs or Horses or most other species,
You really do not have the slightest clue about animals or Dogs in general.
Matey, you buy the best blood you can get no matter what the animal is, Then if as in this case it is a Dog in the Sport Of ScH that same Dog or Pup can be ruined far more easily by an incompetent handler than it can be developed into a great prospect for the job asked of it, just because it is a class bred dog means nothing in a bad or novice handlers hands
But it seems for you the Breeder is  all and be all and any Tom Dick or Harry can achieve the same as this man has with the Dog
As i said you really do not have a clue what you are talking about Do not bother to argue the toss with me because you are way out of FOCUS,
What that means is a Dog always has to look at the handlers face and into his eyes otherwise the Dog will never take notice or understand what is asked of it, YOU' Buddy should do the same

I think any accomplishment and compliment excelled  whether in sport or work is in a "package" i.e both to the breeder and the handler i.e. you can't have one without the other.

No squabbling guys.

Vikram,

You should know better than to disagree with Steve as he is the world's foremost authority on the GSD (even if he never had one before Izzy), his dog is the best dog, her breeder the best breeder and every trainer who ever casually brushed past him is a personal friend and the best trainer out there.  The sooner that you realize that it is alwyas about him, the better off you'll be.

Jim,
I am looking forward to meeting your dog as I have heard he is a nice dog through Bernard Flinks and others. Also congrats to handler and breeder for a what was accomplished by Dusty!

Equalizer
An apt name you have chose for yourself, What is means i suppose that you are equal to yourself and nothing else well you would have that bit correct.
So you are another who  believes it is solely the breeder not the handler, as you agree with Vikram it must be true. Another thick German Shepherd Owner in you, OH; by the way take Izzy out of the equasion, then add on 4 more Dogs of the same breed before her and you will have the figure correct, But that is beyond your thinking i guess
However as i have always said buy the very best you can afford, then it is up to you  but a crap handler can ruin any dog good lines or not.
But you two Guys do not believe that fact, shows you up to be pure arrogant.
There are few on this board who are great trainers of ScHh Dogs, me included, for if there were we would all be challenging to represent our countries in the WUSV  But very few would admit that fact
Certainly not Equalzier he is not man enough,  he is one who does not post for a time then comes in to stir ithe shit. But he showed his true colours in other threads so we must pity him for what he is

While the dog is very nice...the handling is as nice! I agree with both assessments....because as poseidon said...you can't have one without the other when it comes to trialing:-)

I will add to what others have said; that the dog is excellent as well as the handling.  As others have mentioned, it is a team.  It takes a really good dog and a good handler to achieve success.  when you have a great dog matched with a great handler these are the results that you get.  I would praise Koos for breeding an excellent GSD and the handler for training the dog to reach it's potential.

They both deserve credit, they sure have earned it.

Gustav, thanks for the kind words about my dog.  I'd enjoy meeting you as well, hopefully our paths will cross sometime soon.

Jim
