First, let me say I like Koos.  Very nice, experienced and knowledgeable man.  I like his dogs and have tremendous respect for him.  I also know of many other great breeders that produce excellent sport and working dogs, from Germany, Belgium, Czech and the US.

What I see here is a few posters with little or no actual working knowledge or experience.  Some may be breeders or just GSD owners who have or had dogs from Tiekerhook.   Because of their limited experience working dogs or bias towards Tiekerhook dogs they assume everything they see is  absolute and the only way to do something when it comes to Koos.

I would take some of the posters on this thread more seriously if they actually did something with their dogs, rather than just talk about other people.

JMO,

Jim

Jim,

this is for you

"Whenever I climb I am followed by a dog called 'Ego'."
- Friedrich Nietzsche

EGO = "Edging God Out". You really don't know what many people do or don't do with their dogs.

So stop harping the same tune over and over again on this board.

Good Luck

Cheers

What more can be said about this thread.  Some have a clue.  Some don't have a clue. Some don't know how to ask for a clue. The most dangerous are those that think they have a clue, but could not find a clue, if their dog pointed it out to them because they don't know how to read a dog.

"After doing it long enough (he has 19 pages of dogs listed here and god only knows how many more he has produced) you should be able to produce some nice dogs unless you are a complete idiot."

Do you have the faintest concept of what Mr. Hassing is trying to produce and preserve with his breeding program? Do you have any idea or cocept of what type of study must go into breeding for a particuilar type and purpose on a consistant basis.  Not only do you sound like a hater. You sound like one that has no concept of breeding heritability traits good and bad.  Azz clowns like you haters chased away knowledgable people like a nice German woman who bred and trained GSD's. I sought her advice on a certain line breeding.  She freely advised against it because when it was done in Germany it was known produce small dogs and missing teeth.  This is invaluable information that this database USED to be known.  I even took about a year break from this boad because of all the self appointed gurus.  I come back and there are even more.

This is a GSD board take your collective breed, miseducation, WL GSD breeder hatin', self righteous no clue havin azz, back to dog rescue'in foundin land.  Where all there will love you.  You have still yet to say anything of note worthy about dog training.

Vikram,

So stop harping the same tune over and over again on this board.

Funny, how your statement really applies to you directly.  You have a common theme that you boast about in nearly everyone of your threads.

EGO = "Edging God Out". You really don't know what many people do or don't do with their dogs.

Please, let us know about your experiences and what you have done with your dogs lately.  Have you ever decoyed, ever titled a dog?  Raised any dogs from puppies to SchH 3 and or Police service dogs?  Do you decoy on a regular basis?  Ever decoyed for dogs from a puppy to a SchH 3 or any titles in any sports?  Ever worked a dog in any capacity?

I can usually get a good read on what people have done with their dogs by their posts.  But, you are correct I do not know what everyone has done with their dogs.  I can tell from the posts on here who actually works dogs on a regular basis and those who dabble but talk a good game.

Please enlighten us with your accomplishments.

Cheers,

Jim

Kyle,

I gave the man and his kennel the credit that's due. I have only commented on what I saw in the video and you could take any dog out of the kennel and do this with them. If you or I posted this video doing this with our dogs people would be all over us. I don't care how they train to honest, I just don't find it impressive. You guys want to see how it works, do what you see in the video a few times then take your dog out to the training field, if you do any sort of object guard and place the dog bowl with some food in the basket and have the decoy work the dog. You will quickly understand what he's more than likely trying to accomplish.

Other than that good dogs, good kennel and I really have nothing else to say.

You know, a while ago I was messing with my dog. I put a bone between his paws and I told him to watch it.. he likes me, but he is an oportunistic ass and I almost got my hand bitten off.... the good thing is I can tell him that something is "mine" and he lets me take it.
He is not agressive (food) but if some random dude wanted to take his food he is not going to let him.

Stupid me.

I had a picture on me in a suit. I looked like a broken marshmallow "michelin" man on the ground. To save my life I could not get up even with the help of a dog. Pathetic! I am good in a blind but sned a fast big dog and you will see a cartoon like bulging eyes comming out of my head.. Been there done that .. no thanks!

so no helper here!

Kyle,
This may be tough for you to swallow, but, the good trainers and breeders that I know (some of them who have competed in the WUSV, others in the World Malinois Championships) are chased away by people like yourself that believe people and dogs are "legendary" and whatever these legendary people do is gospel.

As for hating WL GSD's, I'll have to let the three that I own know that when I get home.

More importantly, are you okay? Normally you write with clarity and do a decent job of spelling.
I have no issue with you. It's okay that people disagree. No big deal. We don't agree on this point.
Life will go on.
