Hi Sabrina,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss and i am filled with tears as i too lost my long haired german sheperd in malaysia.
I brought him over from england (i am malaysian born) and my husband is english. He became soo ill on he 4th of april and by the 20th we lost him. I must say the vets in malaysia are useless and i have decided because of  this to return to england. I lost my baby and am still unable to go through with you what happened, all i know is if he had been in england he would still be alive.
I watch as he suffered from tick fever. though i must say they did the best they could but that was not good enough as they seem lacking in knowledge. He was given a 7 in one vaccine prior to him getting ill!!! with out checking if he had fever how irresponsible!!!so i am not sure at this moment if it was the tick fever or the vaccine that caused me to lose him or maybe both.
Before anyone brings their dog over to malaysia they need to do a lot of research as noone tells you anything. Better still do not take your dog there its madness.
I will never forgive myself for taking him there. Its a dirty tick ..flee invested country, and i doubt any investment is made to ensure that animals are given the best chance to survive. Yes i am angry very angry but also very sad. with time i will be able to write and tell what really happened to my baby but at this moment i cannot because it is too painful for me and am so very broken hearted.
lots and lots of hugs to youxx
