shelley,
i love ajax, too, but here is something to think about as an alternative:
right here in the usa is alex eisenhaus:

he would be an excellent choice for a carol daughter.
think about it. :)

Believe me, I HAVE thought about breeding to Alex. Wonderful dog. But Ali is "promised" to Jim Honda's "Ice" for her first litter. Call it an 'arranged marriage." After that, I don't know if Alex will still be breeding but we will see. I wish I had more nice females to breed to some of the dogs I really like right now, and the time & energy to raise up the pups from those litters.

wow - what a great site - no wonder you want ajax, the picts of his pups on the puppy pages look amazing; their eyes are so engaging. the picts of the other adults are incredible they're so balanced front to back - not that i know anything about this at all but for me these dogs are just a major wow. this is why i love gsd because of dogs like these. thanks shelley for sharing! sure wish i had the money to buy ajax for you and a male pup for me and pay for your trip to pick them both up but if i did i definitely would.

Well apparently Ajax has a heck of a following. I counted 48 breedings this year alone. That's a LOT for a working line dog!
