Czech GSD'S ? - Page 4

"UNA" is a Tom PS and Iery Vikar Grandaughter.  I love her drives and am working towards her titles ourselves...

shepherdmommy-  Thank you for the compliment.  Sig is my almost 2 year old male.  He was out of a litter Agar sired.  The female pup I posted a picture of was out of my very first litter with Agar and my bitch Rosa.  I kept a male out of that litter who's just gorgeous IMO.  The litter turned out so nice that we will repeat it in the future; possibly in the spring of 09. 

Agar both pups are good looking, I like the female a lot :). Glad he is producing great dogs. Good luck.

Can anyone talk to me about my bitch's czech pedigree?  She is half czech on her sire's side and I am curious about what kind of traits these czech ancestors have.  I believe her dam's side is West German.  She is a firecracker and I think very slow to mature.  She is a year old now...

I do not know much about her sires side. But I can tell you that her dam comes from some very nice DDR, east german, lines. I have a DDR female that goes back to some of these lines. I will say that the female on your avitar is a nice look and very well bred female. I will do some more looking on the sires side and post more.

Sperna, your bitch's head is superb, with excellent ear carriage and correct muzzle.  I love her pigment and expression.

Like I mentioned in my previous post....the bottom half of the pedigree is DDR....the top half is half german workingline and half Czech.  The workling line has some very nice dogs in there....for example Karlo vom Peko Haus and Arc vom Bunsenkocher. They were both very hard dogs and did very well in competition. As for the Czech half.there are some nice dogs there also....Cordon An-set and Dark Gymor. Both of these dogs produced some very good dogs that did very well on the competition field.

Thank you so much for the info.  I was at a loss for some of the names in my bitch's pedigree.  I'm always reading on this site about the famous dogs, you know...Fero, Troll, Nick, Crok, etc.  Other than Lord and Lump vom Gleisdreieck , I saw no names in her pedigree that jumped out at me so to speak.  She has some incredible ball drive now, so I'm hoping to seize on that and get her titled in Sch.  Thanks again for the info...

BTW, I saw your pictures of your Czech female on another post.  Beautiful color and head!  Good luck with her...
