Shelley Strohl

by Shelley Strohl on 21 November 2008 - 16:11

I was fortunate to have attending two seminars by Gene England, largely focused on the Art of Such-Platz. I still use the technique when needed. Gene also helped me with my good female "Cheetah" (G Grumman Cheetah vom Nykontal, SchH 3, FH, KK1) on the retrieve, although there was no table at hand. Cheetah went on to be a darned good competition dog. She went to one of Gene's early dogs on her bottom line, a daughter of Ulk Bungalow. Only dog I ever saw get a low G in the show ring one day and KK1 the next.

It's all miles over his head anyway.  Tables are for people with brains and common sense.

After talking with SL I'm afraid I too fall outside of the required IQ and common sense parameters/prerequisites for "Basic Table Training - Part I - Introduction"

Pharaoh

by Pharaoh on 22 November 2008 - 05:11

Pharaoh experienced a bit of table training today at the groomer.  I am only sorry that I didn't get to see it. I wonder how he got Pharaoh up on the tall table.

He said Pharaoh was unsure at first but got used to it.

Groomers do have to train all the different dogs that come in to get with the program at the doggie wash.
