what a load of total crap!

Mods. so does anyone ever lock a thread here when it degrades to slander and total BS?

Or does it just get to go on and on?  Is that what this board/site is about?

Gotta LOVE the internet  or better yet some in the human race!!

All I can say is, I have one of them Wildhaus dogs, NO WAIT, I have two of them.. and couldn't be happier..

Funny how all the helpers that have worked (and they've been worked on multiple helpers) them in my area, have nothing but good things to say..  Maybe folks should spend time talking to the people that actually matter, have worked these dogs and have first hand knowledge of them..

I'll take my no drive, sharp, nervy dog any day of the week! <snort>   At least I know what will show up come trial day!! A dog that enjoys the work!

Yeah right, no drive, sharp, nervy dog...  The dog is question turns heads every where it goes and has taking mutilple high in phase and a high in trial.  When this dog everyone is watching.

Re. the handler in question and their breeding program.  I have the following to say, I know he and his wife to be excellent ambassadors to the sport who have spent countless hours of uncompensated time bringing new blood into the organization, the sport and the breed.  Can anyone have a lapse of judgment or one of frustration?  Certainly, and since I wasn’t there I can’t comment on what exactly did or did not happen, but as described – shit happens.  Does it rise to level of many infractions seen but not addressed at the higher levels?  Not really.  Was it unsportsman like?  Possibly, but like speeding (technically breaking the law) there are a lot of things worse that someone can do, so does speeding carry the same level of punishment and stigma associated with it as say grand theft or larceny?  Nope, but in our sport it appears there are no graduations in level of infraction…

Having said that, regarding other issues…  I own one of their pups (in the spirit of full disclosure) and know of 7 within an hour’s drive and only one or two would be considered less then possible regional level dogs and those are still be trained in serious clubs, are very solid in all phases and are well on their way to titles and both have BHs that were no joke.  My trainers know at least 6 of these dogs personally, having provided private lessons to the owners and they (the trainers) have remarked *very* favorably about all the examples they’ve seen, no small statement considering their combined 60+ years in professional dog training and combined 40 years training and competing in Schutzhund up to and including the national level.  I've trained with the individuals in question and they (In my book) are very motivational training oriented and are very, very careful about using any old school training methods, compulsion or force for anything.  Every owner I know of seems very satisfied with their dog and it seems like better than 80% of pups produced are in serious working (mostly SchH) homes.  Of the dogs I've seen titled, several have received high in trial, and or numerous high in phase awards.

Regarding their pups produced:

A litter = 9 pups, 5 in working homes, 1 in SchH, 3 pups with hip rating or at least prelims

by cledford on 09 June 2008 - 17:06

B litter = 7 pups, 6 in working homes, 3 in SchH, 5 pups with hip rating or at least prelims(one mild hips)

C litter  = 3 pups, 2 in working homes, 2 in SchH, 2 pups with hip rating or at least prelims(one mild hips)

D litter  = 7 pups, 7 in working homes, 7 in SchH, 5 pups with hip rating or at least prelims

E litter  = 6 pups, 6 in working homes, 6 in SchH, 2 pups with prelims

32 pups, 27 in working homes (84%), 19 in SchH (60%), 17 hip rated or at least prelim with/2 mild.

Respectfully,

Fact:  On more than one occasion Mr. Wild has had an altercation with a judge.

Fact:  In at least one of these situations he took it out on a dog(his wifes).

Fact:

He has a very bad temper, a history of poor sportsmanship.  You folks that are defending for the sake of defending;  I understand your intentions, there is a lot of BS that goes on in bulletin boards.  Please understand, this is not just BS, look at the facts above.  There are witnesses,   This person needs to remove himself from the sport until he can control himself.

Please don't defend what you assume is just 'another one of those personal attacks'.  Doing so only enables the demeanor.

As far as what kind of dogs they produce, it's not fair to slander what you don't personally know.  Different people have different likes and dislikes in dogs.  Some folks look for 'sharpness' others look for a different threshold.  As far as the training at home, if you've personally witnessed an issue, describe facts, not open ended innuendo's, these are not fair.  Piling on is not fair.  Provide facts that the accused can directly respond to.  Maybe seek a BOI case if you think the problem can't be handled privately.

By all means, if you know and think the guy is swell, defend him.  I see that many people coming to his defense are his wife or someone that has a dog from them.  Probably people that truly know Tim.  That is great.  I understand your anger and attitude towards the posters on a messageboard.  But, what you have not seen is the fact that Tim has not been the subject of ridicule prior to this incident.  Has he?  This isn't the first incident he has had.   I'm not saying Tim is a bad person and this definitely has nothing to do with his dogs or training, but after several incidents, one must take a step back and reflect on the pattern.  I think that the other incident(s) were overlooked by many as, "well, we all have our moment", but after the moment becomes moments, people start to pay attention.  People notice the bad over good.  Look at the news.

I think the best thing for Tim to do, is let it die.  Learn from the experience.  IF all of this is true(or false), he may grow and become a better person.  I wasn't there for all of these incidents, but I have seen Tim loose his temper rather easily.  I do it myself.  Not so much with judges, co-workers, strangers, but those close to me.  I understand this is not the place to have oneself discussed, but perhaps it may open one's eyes to their own actions.  Hell, EVERYONE can always use MORE patience.

exactly, we all can have moments.  What good does it do to hash out 2nd hand info on the interenet?  What is anyone really "warning" others about??  He did something the judge didn't like, and the judge noted it and reprimanded him for it.  What the heck does any of that have to do with any of us?
