Most first heats in young dogs are not valid (thank heaven) and they will not progress the normal standard way during a normal heat cycle. Most will come in to heat and it be very short and it is not uncommon for them not to attract proven studs another blessing. Please take the advice above and do not let the two together for precautionary reasons.
