Winner died..............

So no need to talk about what this dog din't had because he can not prove you wrong anymore

What he had he proven to the breed outstanding color social carakter Winner give the breed very good progency

Winner could have make VA and would deserve it  if he was given time i am sure he would made VA.... only time Winner din't get

And its a lost for the breed and for us breeders because i always enjoyed looking at winner in the ring

Sad ending of a beautyfull dog

Howdy,

as we all know, progeny will contain always 2 sets of genes ..... so even if Winners drives may have not been the best, you have to calculate the mother side in. I did have a litter sired by him, and was actually very pleased with it. I kept a female out of that litter that is just over 1 year old now. Her drives are good, bitework is very nice. Of great importance for me, is the fact that the female is x-rayed, and hipps & elbows are a1. BTW, you can see a pic of her on the front page of my HP, Caro vom Sankt Martiner Tal.

Neohaus, I am sorry that Capone did not pann out, we talked about it. All his siblings did, at least their owners are happy with what they got. Also all littermates ears are up, just too bad it did not happen with Capone. He definetly would have been my choice, if I would have kept a male at that time.

As I do not know if Winner passed away or not, I will say that he indeed was apleasure to look at with a very nice temperment.

The Szendzik family was very nice and helpfull at all times, I would not hesitate to work with them again at any given time.

Kind Regards

We had also heard that Winner died of bloat arounf the same time that it was mentioned before (July 10th).  This is devistating to the breed since he was so young and had so moch ahead of him.

My wfe and I have one of his (many) daughters (she looks just like him) and are currently attempting to breed her.  We're hoping for a Winner clone in the litter.

My condolences to his family, it seems that his owner was always with him in the ring.   This is truly terrible news for the breed.
