I have no wish to offend anyone, but the scheme put forward by the "Partnership" is better and will be easier to "update and add to"... we've waited this long, let's give it a few more weeks and see what the KC decides, common sense may prevail.

I feel sure they will receive the same answer as a GSD Club Secretary has already received.
The position of the Kennel Club will then be very clear.

Hi,
I do agree with all the health tests etc but we should remember why the K C wishes to implement their changes i.e. withdraw of C C's for 2012 and what they are stating is the double handling which can be excessive.
I saw one woman running around the outside of a ring to alert her GSD and she had her baby under her arm whilst running! Health and Safety comes into this. A serious accident could and in time, no doubt will happen. Will the secretary of the club allowing this behavious be held responsible?
The other things the K C mention is weak hocks and excessive sloping, maybe sometimes roach backlines. Cowhocks belong on cows, not GSD's, soundness in wind and limb is essential in a working breed of dog and yet GSD which cannot stand straight as their hocks are so deformed are winning C C's. I think it is cruel to breed dogs like this. This cannot be right no matter how famous their owners and handlers are.
All we need, is for normality and balance to return - actually it has never gone away, we still retain this in our working bred stock and 'middle of the road' exhibits but these people do not speak up enough.

Perhaps we should place, annually, photographs of the first 20 of each class of the German Sieger Show, and include the Judges critique - on a dedicated British Website for the true German Shepherd Dog CONFORMATION.
