Sue, I just don't get it, myself. It's like she TRIES to misunderstand everything. All I can figure is borderline character disorder.

To those that did defend Bartmess and now denied the fact this extreme denial may also be a form of mental illness. The dogs are one thing but to treat your mother like this is not only criminal but the punishment should be to endure the same suffering that she helped to create for her mother. There are the same 2 people on here now ranting now that where ranting on here last year when Sock Puppet was calling them out for their support of crazy Janice. He was supporting the truth and the facts all of which they decided to ignore much the same as they are doing now.

The "defenders" were, as often as not, simply acting out of their enmity toward Sock Puppet, Hodie, Jim, et al, regardless of the facts, or reality. That is an established SOP with some of them. They don't understand that the behavior was in essence supportive of Janice--they simply see it asan opportunity for NOT supporting, in fact, attacking SP, et al. They miss the point that Bartmess, as well as the rest of the world with a fully functioning brain, saw it as support for Bartmess. Perhaps it is still simply denial... ?

I don't see it as borderline personality. It's just that the enmity and hurt feelings go that deeply. Sometimes, people can't let go of that and move on. Imagine, if the outcome had been a bit different, and it were Maggie and Nona that were vindicated on something. There are those among us who would not be able to easily apologize to them and move on, either. The enmity, in some cases (as demonstrated in these recent Bartmess threads) simply goes too deeply.
Still, as Sue and Nona have pointed out, this may be an opportune time to try to all move on and, perhaps, start over.

VM, you are right...I try to write in your language so you can, without a doubt understand what I am trying to say.....But you still haven't, and can't prove anything you accuse me of concerning Janice's abuse.....That is what the issue is....You can't accept the fact that are wrong by accusing me....Like I said, I can move on, but it doesn't seem like you can....

I'm game, Mystere. That is an excellent point....it would be excruciatingly difficult to have to apologize to Nona. I'm sure it must be hard for her to have to face such an action herself.

Mystere, I have acknowledged VM's and those deserving for their effort and accomplishment for the Janice situation, in more than one post.....What more can I do to bury the hatchet.....I Have said I can move on, but it seems that VM wants to continuously carry on about it....Like you said If Myself or Maggie would have cause for vindication, it would be hard for many of you to acknowledge and admit you were wrong....That is exactly the case here, concerning there is no proof of the accusation made about me defending or encouraging Janice's abuse.....VM and others can't admit they were wrong id accusing me...I dare not expect an acknowledgment from any of them....I would not expect that they wold admit they were wrong..
