Question to Working Line Breeders - Page 9

Yes, I get really bent about this .... it has nothing to do with my insecurity....it is all about the GSD.   I get really annoyed when the Show Lines are "put down and dismissed" as if they are not real German Shepherds.    You are the person who engaged in the dismissive attitude regarding SL -- which you stated are just pets (pets are also lowly in your eyes).   We see things very, very differently.   

Well I guess we agree to diagree. I don't want to talk about showlines, so please drop it and leave the thread. It was addressed to "working line breeder", not you. You are the only one on here that wants to bring up the topic. Please search every thread I have been involved in and you'll see that I have zero interest in discussing or putting down your beloved showline. Nobody on this thread wants to talk about them, except you. Yes, I said what I did about showlines because Vickie brought up showlines and I said what I said to keep showlines out of the discussion. Maybe I wasn't clear or you didn't understand, but I'll say it again. I have zero interest in your lines. I didn't even specify that I wanted input from GSD breeders alone. If you look, we have Malinois and others adding to the input.

Hahaha!!! What does show-vs-working have to do with the soap opera threads? And I haven't gone on there and hijacked it like you are doing to this thread. You can stay if you want. Just try to keep on subject. I know you don't breed, or maybe you do, who knows? So kindly tell me what your kennel has produced or what your breeders kennel has produced and I'll be happy. Please do not include show results. I am not interested in BoB at the Podunk County fair. Blue ribbons don't mean a whole lot to me. And if you think it is a bias against showlines, you're wrong. I'm not interested in Welsh corgi show results either. It's simple. I am only interested in working/sport results. If you don't have any, slink off and go run a couple circles on some artificial grass. Like I said, I tried to be civil, but you are getting annoying. Oh and if all working people have an ego problem, do all show people have an insecurity and self-esteem issue? They don't feel pretty enough, so they prance a dog in the hopes that some decrepit geezer will pin a ribbon on their animal and tell you how beautiful he is? Is that fair of me to do?

I'm so glad I only raise farm/pet dogs.

Waitaminnit moons, I thought we were counting farm & ranch dogs as "working" dogs.  That is, unless you're talkin about pets that just only happen to be on a farm.  But, little Fufu isn't quite a sailor dog when he's out on the family yacht, is he?  Nor is he a sport dog when he's tucked under mommies arm at the hockey game.

If he can get a beer - that's a working dog.  Had one of those once, it was a real party favorite!
