 Yes they should ! Here is a pic from my 2 German Imports. V Zico vom Merlin and V Vella vom haus Dexel both are KKL 1. If you cant disclose you have no character !!!  Born and raised in the breed some 40+ years and I had to buy 2 very impressive dogs from Germany to find such recessive traits that I had never seen in all my life. 5 males born 01/18/2009. 2blk/red, 1 sable, 1 liver/tan and 1 liver/sable. 3 out of the five look to be long coats. Both liver genes and 1 blk/red. No linebreeding in 4 generations.
They do all have nice temperments though if you can live with the color and the hair I guess it is okay. To Say the least it is not what I was hoping for. Some times SH__T Happens !
