Ibrahim how close are todays showdogs to the standart, are they not as far of to the other end of the scale as todays workingdogs

Just imagine above dog was with somewhat less rear angulation and he could do work same as Dukes dogs or Prager's or Joan's then that is what the standard describes a GSD

Duke, honestly, little more angle in the shoulder and that would symbolize the standard, provided temperament and character has your thumps up

Speaking positively, Duke, the 1st dog is more than good in structure, what I would love to see is more work breeders produce such dogs and they be their average and norm, not only one in every 100.

I like that sable dog, I always wanted to own a good GSD both in structure and character, my mistake, maybe, I bought them too young at 2 months, maybe also from the wrong breeders, or maybe I do not qualify for a good GSD from the point of view of the breeder !!!
