Xeph

I agree with you on his feet, though I think he's just going through a phase right now (Meep did it a month ago).  He's a heavy dude (not fat, just a good size) and his nails need to be worked back.  We'll see how they're looking in another couple of months.

I've got a total of six puppies being shown.  It is exhausting trying to manage them all, but I'm grateful

Ms Mikasa rocked it out in Tallmadge, OH on Sunday!  She went winners bitch, best of winners and best opposite sex to her old man!  The judge told me he almost put her up for breed.  He LOVED her.  Also told me I could pack her up and put her in his car lol.

So incredibly proud of her <3

Win photo that I purchased

This is probably going on a coffee mug LOL  Mikasa with her father

Very cool!  When she finishes, then, she'll be your first home-bred Champion, or am I not recalling correctly?

It's always a buzz when you finish your own dog, and can do it without hiring Jimmy Moses or equivalent, but it's got to be a really, really special kind of high when you finish one that you also planned, whelped and raised into existence!  [I'm speculating that Mikasa will be the first of the litter to finish, though I believe she'll hardly be the only to do so...]

Aye, she'll be my first homebred.  Her mother is still chasing that last major...nothing is even making major counts :-/  We're hoping to finish her in Maryland next month.  Counts are lower there and with almost all the puppies being shown, it will be a major for sure.

This is a puppy I got back 4 weeks ago.  He was clinically emaciated,  Had muscle wasting, sunken in eyes, weighed 31.6 pounds at 6 months old.

His feet

How he sat

Today (1/14/15), weighing 50.2 pounds.  He gained 18.6 pounds in 26 days

This puppy will be leaving for a (local) show him in March.  First show is next month.  Five of the six puppies will be exhibited.

Marcato's Katmandu "Ouzo" at 7 months.  Hexe, check out his feet ;)  I had to double check to make sure his eyes were open in the photo.  They're so dark!

Xeph - that pup, the emaciated one - it sure is fortunate for him that you got him back.     Why was he so mistreated (if you are at liberty to say)?    Lucky for him to be with you now.
