The most ignorant are those who speak without saying anything of substance.

You are basing your support of proposed legislation entirely on emotion while disregarding the facts.
Felloffer, that is an outlandish statement and just not true. You might think that about me, but I don't think that about myself. I think your facts are all skewed and out of date. So you really have no basis per your own standard and your rationale is flawed. Nice that you can put a nice hat on every now and again, but we both know how you really feel about me, or having a discussion with me. You live for the gotcha moment apparently, so I find this is just a false front from you, even if Prager sings your praises.

Facts and logic support my argument. What do you have?

Can you post one fact which would support the statement that background check would stop hoodlums from buying guns illegally? Or can you post one fact which would prove that any recant mass shooting would be stopped by more extensive background checks?
And finally here is a fact for you. Chicago, the home of POTUS, has one of most stringent gun control laws however, and I quote:
The death toll by murder in Chicago over the past decade is greater than the number of American forces who have died in Afghanistan since the beginning of Operation Enduring Freedom, according to a police analysis. Take a note that Afghanistan deaths tall includes non hostile deaths!!!!
