He really is a gorgeous chap! See, now do you believe us that 2 (or more) is easy?
Great to see Mojo is becoming friends with him. I have a male GSD that takes any puppy under his wing, male or female. I've never had a problem introducing any new puppy, I've always thought it was fairly unusual for a dog to not accept a puppy (once they get over the shock LOL) and by the time the pup grows up, they have grown to be friends. That's' been my own experience (so far) anyway.

Dunno, it will be interesting to see him grow up.

I don't know that all Pits point...I have had 6 of my own, and fostered quite a few others and the majority of them have done it; not a "true" point but a point. Simon does it all the time. Seven does it at certain critters. I'm just saying it's possible that Pit's what's responsible for the odd coloration and the structure and white patches. Steph's description of their temperaments is what clued me in to the possibility. She was saying they weren't acting like BYB GSDs; they were acting like working lines. The actions she described reminded me of Pit pups.
Time will tell!

I don't think Beau looks "weim-ish" at all, but some of those silver lab breeders have done a good job at eliminating weim structure from their dogs. I've seen silver labs that looked like perfect english labrador specimens, except for their color.
However, neither weim nor lab can explain odd white patches, white mark on chest, toes are common, but not elsewhere.
I'm excited to see Beau "grow up" here on PDB, can't wait to see what he looks like as an adult...who knows? maybe we'll change our opinions 10 times before he's 2 yrs old, LOL.
But, no matter what, no doubt that he's gonna be a stunning dog, certainly one who will make people stop and look twice :)

Euro, email me if you would...bf may "need" a Lab for work and I may need to deal with it (yuck...). I could tolerate a really nice looking chocolate English type if you have any suggestions to breeders who would have a good looking one w/a decent personality (for a Lab anyway) that would retrieve some freaking ducks in cold water for a month out of the year, then work 6mos. out of the year on Pheasants.

I also think his expression looks like a GSD. I think he is a rare one in a million blue GSD!!///Yep, thats my opinion!//..;)
