LOL

Ya, I mean non-BST hormone RAW milk. Straight from the cow to the glass or straight from the cow to the fridge to the glass milk. Milk with all the colostrum and all the live bacteria.

"non-homogenized milk ? LOL You mean pasteurized milk."

Correct; the milk is pasteurized as the law requires but is not homogenized.  You do understand that they're separate processes; don't you?

Yes I do. I've never personally ever heard anyone say "non-homogenized" milk before as you mentioned. That's like saying a male is non-female. LMAO
Soo to me "non-homogenized" is a talkback from someone who doesn't know WTH they're talking about. Sorry.

Sooo, your "non-homogenized" milk, is it pasteurized or cold-pastuerized (Irradiation) .. I assume you know they are separate processes, don't you ?

Edit : non-homogenized

A cattle farmer friend of mine has made an indepth study of raw milk...and she feeds it to her kids unpasteurized. She says the process of homogenization renders the calcium pretty much useless, too. I don't know. I don't feed it to dogs. They always get the runs! But I do make homemade yogurt from organic milk and sometimes I let them have that.

Very true; I am not an expert on milk processing nor do I care to be.  Here's where the milk comes from:

I know someone who has milk goats and she uses the raw goat milk for herself and family and also for her dogs.  She's been doing this for many, many years and says it's a fantastic food.  Never any problems.

Keith, I read your website link. I assume they do a aseptic type irradiation. I can't be sure because they limit their info on their manufacturing process only mentioning high temperature short time.

Anyhow, my whole mentioning idea with RAW milk, it is by federal law banned for sale in 22 of the 50 states. Legislation for another 19 states in on the table now. If you've never tried RAW milk for yourself or your animals, unfortunately your loosing time to have that choice of natures health.

I had raw milk as a kid, Eagle...we used to get it from some people down the road who had a couple of cows.  It's hard to come by now unless you know someone or enter into a co-ownership agreement on a cow which I've read some people do to circumvent the legal restrictions.

Same here, Keith. We just took clean jars up to the dairy and got it straight out of the vat where it was waiting for processors to pick it up. We used to make cottage cheese out of it, too.
