Red Sable
give us a date in July or August and we'll meet you in Colorado........then you can head up to Montana.....I'm sure, given enough time we all can create the perfect trip for you.
Rent an RV, that way you don't have to worry about where to park it months out of the year.
Steph,
Can we come visit???
I'll clean out the stalls if you let me ride a horse.......I miss mine dearly, she died years ago. We where partners for years.

Got a pinto pony for me? How fun would that be to have a meeting in the Montana mountains, for a doggone hootenanny!

Good Luck to you Shelley for getting out of your situation.
Please don't get into another, which is very easy to do, take a look at your surroundings, meaning the people around you, and don't fall for it again.
I got out of an abusive situation back in the early eighties, with 7 kids, and my father was on his death bed, I was visiting him and working a 40 hour a week job, thought I would snap, but I made it through all that, I gave my GSD away cause the x was beating her, she got out of the abusive relationship. I was almost homeless, with 7 kids & a station wagon, if I can do it you sure can....
I wish I had what you have, able to travel with your dogs & use a computer, and not have to be hounded by the department of social services!
I had shit for a support system......
All I'm saying is open your eyes & don't fall for the same kind of relationship you had, or you're toast!
Good Luck with your new life,
I Have NO COMPLAINTS
My life is the opposite of what it used to be

Mirasmom,
So glad that you were able to escape your own hell. Sorry you had no support...sounds like it was really hard for you and your kids. Good to hear you have no complaints now!! Shelley needs to know there is a light at the end of the tunnel regardless of what she goes thru. Thanks for sharing what has to be a painful memory.
