Yes there is more than one way to skin a cat, but if you have an expert cat skinner in front of you, and you have never skinned one before why would you bickering with him? Have a little grace and shut the hell up! Having a different opinion is different than contradicting and bickering. And let’s assume it is egotistical. Education cost! Why should a person that has talent and spent his time, money and energy, learning what you want to know, have to break his balls to force feed an education to you? Don’t they have the right to teach on their terms? Life is too short to have to deal with that shit! Personally, if I want to deal with a bunch of BS for free then I'll go to my mother-in-law's for a visit.

Habanaro, you are right, it is hard to know, but usually, at least in my case, when you are just beginning, you don't rely totally on the internet for info. You read books, go to clubs (if we are discussing Sch here) and gleam your info from many places. Common sense will give you a feel of what seems right and what doesn't. For example, I've always really liked your posts, you speak with quiet authority, always have a very classy way of presenting information. Another one is Jim. When he answers a question, he goes into detail and gives wonderful explanations. There are others on this board that I respect, even though of only been reading this website a short time. Alot here have much knowledge of diseases, and experience in other dog problems, and thankfully are willing /and I think, even enjoy sharing it with those that haven't encountered those problems yet. Thanks be to them.
Newbies, if they are doing their homework can tell a gem from a fake. This board has alot of great, knowledgeable and interesting people on it, and it is flourishing.
I know they say this about horse trainers, and I'm sure it applies to dog trainers as well- There is one ,for sure thing , two trainers will agree on, and it is that the third trainer is doing it wrong.
KCjaza, lol.

The problem isnt just here it happens on the internet to all boards, books are excellent and a good club is invaluable. There are people here way more knowlegable than I. but I always kind feel a bit bad when a good training thread goes down the tubes for really no good reason. Especially when it has some quality posters on it. (again not saying anything bad about any of the regulars here) Happens everywhere..
And yes they say that about dog trainers as well.

to write on here and not a RIGHT. We must keep this in mind as we post our opinions. It is his house, so to speak, and we should remember this as we pen our threads.
And as far as I am concerned this thread is one I would not mind being deleted at all. ecs

What have you been smoking?
Can't you comprehend what you read?
You don't even come close . Oh, you have a little something on your nose.
Your post makes no sense and has nothing to do with the topic.
Congratulations.
