CaptMIke, that link was the best post all Fing day! Coming from an ex trucker wench. No it's not about dogs, but without jobs, who the hell is going to have $ to buy GSD's?

Stonehaus

Two Moons, not really looking for anything special. So I guess that's why I missed Cpt Mike's video. That makes up for all the political bullshit I had to read through to get to it.

I have a HUGE issue with that statement.  Forgive me if I get a bit "pushy" on it.  NO ONE has the RIGHT to own any specific breed.  You (generic) have the right to practice the religion of your choice, you have the right to free speech (protected by the right to bear arms), you also have the right to vote.  You may or may not have the PRIVILEGE to purchase a specific breed.  No law on the books gives anyone the right to own any specific type of livestock that they want to.

Next, regarding the nomination for Attorney General...ummmm do you really want me to take that position.  Most of the current government would be imprisoned (for various wrong doings) or executed (for treason).  No one would be safe, all would be held accountable...no one would be above the law...for real, not for fake like it is today.  Perhaps I should take a position as the negotiator with OPEC...I've been to their countries and they understand my "negotiation" style (most of the sheeple would find it appauling, so I'll refrain except to say you can find a similar style in the movie "The Fifth Element" w/ Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich).  But then again, imprisoning those that have continually raise taxes in our country on oil/gas for their own gain would help too!

Gosh, the captain's truckdriver friend must have taken diction lessons from Jeremiah Wright!

Maybe this gentleman should apply to be moderator.

LOL... Louise, he was very outspoken I'll give him that.   I was a teamster once, the unions have lost a lot over the years.

Nobody seems happy these days.   I watched a special about Liberia tonight, now thats a president.

Stonehaus dont you have any political views to share?

BS comes in many forms and from many directions.   You might as well get your hands dirty since you spent so much time wading thru the mess to get here.

Ya think?

BabyEagle4U:  Each department probably has their own "motto" or oath.  In Cleveland it is "to protect and to serve", however, when they give a promotional test and ask you what a cops main function is, the correct answer is "To serve mankind".

Is either one of those what you were looking for?

Uglydog

You talk rubbish

The IRA bringing Britain to its knees. You talk of how many they killed, Yes, they did kill with Bombs,

The innocent people who did not expect it,  from a cowardly lot of evil terriorists

You think the same way as those did, and seem to gloat in it,

I have a name for people like you if you can be called one but there are Children viewing the Site

If you do not like the way your country is being run then if everyone acts in a civilised manner and holds Demos all over the USA bringing everything to a standstill then you may get through to them

And what is the cause of this problem anyway, Part of it being the Banks lending too much to the people and the people borrowing too much money and unable to pay it back, Its not all a one way fault the people are to blame as well, and that would only be a tip of the ice berg

Capt Mike

The fellow was against the Mexican truck drivers, i sumise taking some of there work, but the trucker speaking on the Video is not doing too badly looking at the size of the Cigar he was smoking

this thread has now become a political site

But you’ve got to realize, Steve, that US society is one of the most gun-happy and militaristic on the planet; and sporting a foreign policy based on the fundamental creed that two wrongs, or military might or both, automatically make a right! Take the Iraq fiasco: by the time it is done with it will have cost at least two trillion dollars (and who knows how many innocent lives!), with much of it going into the pockets of Bush family’s business connections. And after all that, Iraq very likely will lapse into a fundamentalist Muslim State regardless, if it doesn’t splinter first, whereas this same money could have fed, housed and educated every badly-off African child twice over! (Many of who are still dying daily of starvation etc.) The only possible rationale for this bit of adventurism resides in the fact that Iraq owns the world’s only remaining, massive and relatively untapped oil reserves – stuff that’s getting pricier by the day though, even should the US end up with its longer-term control! Afghanistan looked like a losing proposition from the word go, even if it does take the Taliban five, ten or all of fifteen years. At the same time, and relevant chat-rooms bear me out, a large portion of the US middle class are thoroughly disillusioned or have lost faith in the American Ideal altogether (with many turning to extreme religious expression); rampant materialism being partly responsible, with democratic freedoms meaning little bar being free to shop and consume! And of course with their political leaders as well, if not and with the way things generally have been heading for decades. Meanwhile, ever more US corporations (including Wal-Mart) export American jobs to low-wage countries, China and India included; the joys of globalization first hand!
