Kalibeck

by Kalibeck on 26 July 2007 - 14:07

I will post a recipe thread my next day off, if anyone really wants one...it's really so easy,  & everyone's so impressed...I get requests from my husband's co-workers to pack 'take out' dinners, 'cause they all drool over the leftovers he brings in to work. You know who else is an awesome cook? Shelley Strohl! My hubby & I went to her house for Thanksgiving Day last year....she cooked up a storm...imagine a thin blonde Julia Child with GSDs at the side   (now get that visual!) pretty impressive considering she had a litter of pups on the ground, too! I'd have spun myself into a frazzle!LOL  jo

Kalibeck- I wish cooking was my niche but every time I try something new it never turns out the same as when someone else cooked it.  Then there's the issue with everyone in my house being a fussy eater.  This one doesn't like this, that one doesn't like that, one likes miricle whip the onther mayo-geez they drive me freakin crazy! lol  My mother has my girls spoiled cause gram ma will cook 3 seperate meals to make everyone happy.  I just don't have time for all that and I let them all know "this aint gram ma's house".  But that's a good idea to post a recipe thread cause maybe others may have some to share.
