In conclusion I’d like to write some words about the 8th World Universal German Shepherd Championship.
Such championships should, in the opinion of the WUSV management, answer the question - can the German shepherd dogs of the two "show" and "working" lines compete among themselves in fair competition, both in the show ring and in the IPO training. In other words - is this two lines one breed or are they different? I for myself have answered this question long ago - this is one breed, the best breed of dogs in the world - the German Shepherd!
In order, by work and not by words to confirm my answer on this question, I went to the Championship in Diest with my "show-line dog" Nera fom Irin Hof. Those who follow our performances know that this is our second participation in the Championships (it could be the third if I did not break my hand last year at the official training session in Austria). The first performance in Paderborn in 2016 was successful. I wanted to improve my result. And it came true: from the 9th place we climbed the 7th!
Unfortunately, except us with Nera, none of the "show" dogs was included in the final results... Besides us there were two more males from Germany and Hungary and one female from Latvia show-breeding. Only four out of the 59 participants!
That means that the owners of “show-line dogs” avoid face-to-face meetings with working dogs, not being sure that they will successfully pass the tests on IPO-training with the conditions of the heavy three-day competition, hard work of the figurants and strict refereeing ... And this is very upsetting!
I want to thank Inna Nikolaeva with Astrida Letton from Latvia, who took the risk to take part in the Championship, and performed very successfully, if not a misfire in the B-obedience. Therefore, our Nera was the only "show-line dog", who stood the test to the end and compiled the competition with the "working" dogs.
And I still believe that with proper breeding (Nera is my fourth-generation dog, the great-granddaughter of my Asslan and Vinika) and with proper dog training "show" - dogs are not only obliged to compete with "working"-dogs, but also to win them in the Universal Championships.
Our performance wouldn’t be so successful if the people who took part in its preparation. They are - the owner of the dog Igor Lvov, our trainer-figurant Dmitry Melnikov, Sergey Zhirkevich, Kim Heckler, Julia Savitskaya, Alexei Kaskov, the organizer of our participation in the Championship Elena Bliznetsova, member of our team Alexey Perekopsky, and my husband and captain of the Russian national team Sergey Kuznetsov .
Thank You Very Much!

Very well said, and congratulations again. To handle your own dog in the conformation ring, and have her trot correctly, impressive. On to next year
