If you've never heard speaking in tongues you haven't lived..... I have and it was embarrassing to be in the same room with them.
Then after that, you've gotta witness snake handling and a faith healer....... then you can know you've almost seen it all...

what I said was they want to save us, they think it will give them favor in the afterlife.
Buying the stairway to heaven....
Prayer and meditation are not the same thing, and it's a shame we cannot discuss that without them bringing their god and scripture into it.
But, that's how they roll.

I am sorry your mentor is behaving like he is. His loutish behavior is preventing me from continuing any discussion with you at this time. I did want to have that conversation with you, and maybe there will be another opportunity. Who knows. This one is gone.
I would need Admin help to stop Moons, now, from continuing personal attacks against me. Hitting the abuse button might help. While I have hit abuse already, I am not seeing support at this time.

to me prayer assumes the existence of a supernatural being that you talk to on a personal level, that being incidentally already knows ALL your thoughts and feelings and actions anyway so speaking to them is either groveling, begging or just plain redundant, even more so if that supernatural being has individual plan for you anyways.
May i say that this clearly shows your human side, you think in 1 dimension....to think that there is nothing after death and your consciousness will die with you is like saying you exist for no reason but to add to compost, to the ground you walk on...we may as well become wolfs and live on instinct alone...even if you dont believe in supernatural being what do you think is the cause for all the "evil" in the world why are some people acting worse than animals, raping, killing, abducting, tormenting children, women, man? are you saying its in their genes? results of society? ...
pick those people and ask them if they pray and compare them to anyone who prays on regular basis....do you think there would be a difference in the two groups in their life styles and what would be the reason?

of course we are compost, or at least we would be if we didn't insist on caskets, everything on this planet that lives and then dies is connected.
As for acting worst than animals, we are animals.
Predatory parasitic animals with knowledge and knowledge is where the evil comes from, yes it is genetic.
Do priests pray before or after they abuse a child?
Is a madman who hears voices telling him to murder as insane as one who hears a god speaking to him telling him the end is near and he's going to hell?
Religious beliefs and praying have nothing to do with the evil in some humans.
VK4 is just as much human as the rest of us, not believing in a god does not make him 1 dimensional.
I might add, anyone can prey, but only a few can actually meditate, there is a big difference between some humans and others.
