The criticism of the audio advertisement has nothing to do with (backsides), it is intrusive and to suggest muting or lowering volume is simply inconsiderate.
These adds are common on other sites but they start at once and give you a skip option most of the time.
The add mentioned here rotates and starts up at different times and has no opt out.
If this was offensive enough to bring responses from more members I'm sure it would be amended so I know it's possible.
Actually Google has already picked up on these comments and is making evaluations, that's enough in and of itself to make change.
At no point was this personal or directed with malice towards anyone so don't attempt to spin meaning or intent.

It also helps to remember who visits the website and how websites grow,........... members.

lol, no spin. Moons it is very simple to block ads. Nothing about blocking ads is inconsiderate. This site like all sites can only do so much to appease its thousands of members and we along with other sites cannot run around and change everything that a few members complain about. Again, it is very easy to block ads. I am sorry you feel these ads are an intrusion and I guess if I felt the same I would simply block them instead of making posts complaining about them. Would you be willing to pay a small fee a year to see no ads???

Your logic is flawed badly GSD.
Like I said, just by bringing it up Google has tagged it and is evaluating cause and effect.

You need not feel sorry for anything.

I notice that a bunch of free apps these days will offer to make ads go away with a fee. I do not pay them on principle. Otherwise, I can see a future where we are continually charged to remove everyday annoyances, when in the past it would have just been considered good manners to think how one's actions will be received by others. It wouldn't take long for contrived annoyances to show up, and yet need another fee to remove those. This computer age is tough to keep up with. Not saying this about this site, just the whole paying to make it go away idea.

Excellent Bee,
I feel the same way about virus scans.

There are numerous free add-ons to browsers to remove ads. Pages will load faster, less tracking and no "annoying" ads.
