It's a conspiracy, Preston et al. Women all over the country are organizing an Amazon-like army to "neutralize" all the males so we can take over the entire country. First thing we do is to take all the boys' guns away and keeps ours. Stop worrying about who killed Kennedy, in a short tme you will have much bigger fish to fry.Men in chains.

I have questions for anyone who cares to respond,

#1 Do you trust your government, do you believe what they tell you?

#2 Do you believe your government is looking out for your best interest as a citizen, all citizens, or are they looking out for the money and corporations?

#3 Do you believe the world is governed by ideology or economics?

#4 Do you know how many of your constitutional rights have already been violated?

#5 Do you feel safe?

#6 Where do you see the world heading in the next ten years?

#7 Do you really believe society would be any less violent without guns?

I know, that's a lot of questions.

Moons,  some answers:

1  No I don't trust my Government one inch, but it isn't your Government
so maybe that means nothing.  I didn't trust the last UK Govt 100% and
I voted for that one.

2  The reason I don't trust the current UK Govt is precisely because I 
reckon they are just "looking out for the money & Corporations" !

3  Economics, backed up by the ideology / ethics  or lack of, of those who
own the most resources.

4  UK doesn't have a written constitution;  but yes I believe rights fought
for by the populace over centuries are being eroded.

5  In general yes, in the immediate sense, in terms of the physical, and
personal property;  I live in a low-crime area.  However I originate from
a high-crime area.  In the specific sense of "would ruling forces take
from me / trample all over me if I was in their way ?"  not particularly
safe, longterm, at all.

6  All downhill.

7  In some ways yes, as I've already said on here.   BUT...

Edit to add:  OK, nevermind, I get it now. 

The question is misleading, that is why I corrected it with my statement. Not all acts of violence end in death. The chances of violence with a gun ending in death, goes way up.

A gun also allows one to be set apart from the violent act, compared to a knife wielding maniac.

As a matter of fact .. this country wouldn't exist if the ENEMY would have gotten their way to disarm the people. We fought back and won remember. Please refer to the US Constitution, Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence for the FACTS !!!!!!
