in canada, where half my family lives..... health care for my uncle, great aunt and others has been horrible.
can you imagine waiting 6 months to get a heart stent and then another 6 months for prostrate cancer care, oh and your knee that will take another year at the earliest.
can you imagine a doctor saying, well you've had a long life happy life, we can do an arterial scan, but it will take a year?

Sitamom, the entire Affordable Health Care Plan became law, but it will not be enacted in its entirity until 2019. If you want to know what and when, click on this link. So far not much is in effect - can't refuse insurance coverage due to pre-existing conditions, kids can stay on their parent's policies until they are 26, etc. You can read it all right here.

Pardon me if I don't take anything you say seriously sitasmom. I mean you can't even spell "conservative"....along w/about 50% of the other stuff you type.

change the topic to a personal attack on my spelling....lol.....typical leftist mode.
i'm sure you got the jist of what i was communicating....sorry if i happen to be dyslexic....
i provided a link to the actual law as passed...... before trusting any other source, try reading it.

Why can't you spell "conservative" after all this research you do? I use the term "research" as loosely as possible.

Calling around for the best price for your own care and that of your animals' may not necessarily get you quality care.

LOL...the rest of what she posted is bogus as well, starting with taxpayer funded abortions...there is no such thing...and ending with their categorization of savings in Medicare costs as cuts. You can't win with these people; they bitch about spiralling costs and then when you find a way to do something more efficiently and provide a savings without reducing benefits, they claim you're gutting the system! Zero critical thinking skills...they simply parrot whatever is fed to them.

Sitasmom I am not contesting the fact that the law was passed, I am just trying to explain to you that only a very small part of it is in effect right now and it will be phased in over the next 7 years until the entire law is enacted in 2019. That's not my opinion or Obama's opinion or Keith's opinion, it's the way that law works. Isn't that what we're interested in - the truth about the Affordable Care Act?

pays 17.4% .... not sure if it was this thread or another.. but just for the record....
Keith this might be too complicated for you.....
if people are taxed for not having health insurance (coming next year), and forced to get coverage, and the obamacare law covers abortion, than abortions would be paid for by tax payers...
if people have a tax free medical spending account and use that money to get an abortion than the abortion is subsidised by federal dollars...
