I took the info from the BAGSD website while I was rushing to the airport. I am just about to board to return to the UK but you can look up the info on BAGSD website. In my rush I may have made a mistake, I do not know.

The "BRITISH SIEGER EVENT" is advertised on the THREE host Clubs web-sites.
It is also advertised on a dedicated "BRITISH SIEGER EVENT" web-site.
It is always advisable to have the FULL facts before making such MAJOR suggestions, as you do above.
In my firm opinion if BAGSD & The GSD League were to MERGE in into ONE National GSD Club, this merged Club would have much to offer our breed, and would be able to take our breed forward in the best possible manner.

In reply to MacKenzie's comment 'what have the League achieved - very little' just for information the League started the Hip Scoring scheme, the Tattoo Register, the 2 Day National Show and most significantly the British Sieger Event. This event was submitted to the Kennel Club 2 years before they joined forces with the Breed Council to hold the first Event 4 years ago. On all schemes started by the League you will find that they have always tried to share their knowledge and experience with other clubs and even in the case of the National Dog Tattoo Register with other breeds as well and encouraged them to join forces with them to make a stronger and more united front. They also now incorporate the League Working Branchs which were the old British Schutzhund Assoiciation so fully offering all aspects of Training for a German Shepherd Dog. Bye the way bigger is not always better!!
