LOL RS

No Le or La Eh! Just EH! And they do say it a lot in Quebec.

Also I have never paid $20,000.00 for a Dog. I spent a lot on the present one but not anywhere near 20 grand.

Say how did your horse do in that race you mentioned a while back? Oh no, I'm sorry that question is OFF TOPIC. LOL

What exactly is the topic now? Expensive dogs? Protection dogs? Or expensive protection dogs?

Best dog I ever owned cost me $250. If I could find another like him today the cost wouldn't matter. That dog had a natural protective instinct that I'm not sure you can teach a dog. They either have it or they don't, IMO.

Speaking of topics, the $20,000 was for 2 dogs, not one.  So by averaging it out, she bought two dogs for $10,000 each.  I keep reading about A $20,000 dog...There was no such dog mentioned by the OP.

If they are what she wanted, and she's happy, then that's awesome.  The state of the economy does not matter, because there is "personal economy" and there is the national or international economy.  Apparently Azure Blue didn't mind paying that kind of money for two dogs, and that's great for her.

From what I have read on several of her posts, she has experience with trained GSDs, knows what she is getting herself into, and that's really what matters in the end.

I wouldn't pay that much for a dog, but then again, I'm not at that level, either.  A lot of folks aren't at that level.  AB was able to find two dogs that met her personal needs.  For once, we are reading about someone who is happy with their experience with someone, rather than angry about some portion of it.

I thought long and hard about this subject, and at this point, all I can say to Azure Blue is:

Good luck, congratulations on finding what you were looking for, and thanks for being positive about a breeder.  There is not much of that.
