Ok this may be OT but does SP even have dogs?
And as far as culling...... didnt it used to be (correct me if Im wrong here) that anymore than 6 puppies was a no no and they were culled from the litter and either placed with another nursing dam or ??? Culling isnt talked about much because its so taboo. I dont really care to cull but will if need be. If there was more culling then (imo) the gene pool would be better off.
Im sure we can all say we have regrets and have made mistakes when it came to situations we have been in with dogs. But come on she hardly compares to ddr-dsh and she is still able to post (I still dont get why). Until I have personally (or someone else I care about) been wronged, I give the benefit of the doubt.

Drowning? To my mind that is incredibly inhumane. Of course I have never drowned an animal in my life. But THAT fact will be of NO INTEREST to my "haters"... I pay for euthanasia, and I hold my pups while they are euthanized. I euthanize for unsoundness in physical or mental areas, and yes, my standards are higher than most people, and WAY higher than those who breed for money. I don't sell dogs, so I don't have to worry about being honest about how "perfect" my litters are.
Honestly, you guys. Get a grip. Good breeders cull. Backyard breeders have "perfect litters" and $ell every pup. Non breeders sit back and bitcch about everything breeders do. Breeding is a TOUGH, TOUGH, heart rending thing, which only the truest kind of love for a BREED makes it possible to do those things that make a breed good.
As to "Bonnie Blue" and her "I hurt people in the breed", she is bitching about the part in my book, The Working Pit Bull, where I critized the American Dog Breeder's Association for their condoning dog fighting in their magazine, The APBT Gazette. They carried shirts and other items with pictures of dogs fighting, and legands (messages for the less well educated here) that OPENLY CONDONED DOG FIGHTING. As well, they featured famous fighting dogs as their "pull out dog" each month, with cutzee poems and sayings about their careers in the "fast lane". So, I stated that the ADBA condones dog fighting. Now a bunch of ADBA members in Texas are pissed off because they find their credability damaged. Well, sorry for callinng it like I saw it. I did not feel that the ADBA's behavior was IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE BREED. It might interest ms. Blue to know that Hank Greenwood and I are discussing this issue at this time as I have seen a gradual improvement in the ADBA since he took over. It might interest people here to know that the Greenwood family, which run the ADBA and publish the magazine, was headed up by Ralph Greenwood, passt president of the ADBA, and a very noted dog fighter, of which I have pictures of him n the pit witih dying dogs at my house. So, was I WRONG about the ADBA? No. And this pisses "wanna be fighters" like Ms. Blue off. Sorry.

So when is the cut off age wise? 1 or 2 years old? I have less of a problem with culling health problems but because a pup does not measure up? What kind of vet would PTS a pup that just does not measure up?

Sock Puppet, my fuzzy little friend too scared to even speak his name, I certainly feel no obligation to reply to any question you put to me. See, I have no problem discussing my breeding program or any other ideas I have with interested, intelligent dog people. But I've actually never seen you or your buddy Two Moons post an intelligent dog related post on here. I've only seen you jump in on OTHER PEOPLE's issues. Seems that safe there in that clothes drawer where you lay, you can't open yourself up for any criticism - because you don't DO ANYTHING.
Me, I do plenty. And I don't get mad at real folks who question me, or even get hot under the collar about things I do or believe, because I can take as well as I can give. People have a right to disagree, or think I'm an idiot, or anything else, but I must confess that the type of people that berate breeders when they themselves have never bred a litter, well, its just a little tougher to take them seriously. Or people who bitch about my stance on dog fighting, but have no problem sending money to support dog fighters when they get busted. People like that? Well, they just don't get my respect.
So, if anybody "real" on here has a legit question, I will certainly try my best to truthfully anwser it. But little sock puppet - you aren't real. You are a "nobody", a nameless troll whose only claim to fame is putting down what OTHER people DO. Try being a "doer" for a while, yeah, it will open YOU up to criticism, but you might find that it can be very rewarding!

As to my being on this forum, I find this a much better place than most pit bull forums. Sadly. Many more interesting discussions on temperament and training and schutzhund. May not be "my breed" (though I have owned several sheperds) but serious dog people are where you find them, and I have found several here (besides the usual collection of ding-a-lings who I certainly dont have to name!) LOL!

This coming from someone who has singled me out numerous times. If I am a nobody (which I never claimed to be anybody) then why must you slam me every chance you get. Name one time I put anybody down other than trolls, trouble makers, racists, dog abusers and people who single me out. I never knew you existed and did not care that you did but you took it upon yourself to come at me with 2 different names. Until you screwed up and posted with the wrong name. You have a reputation on the west coast as not only being against dog fighting but also causing problems at almost every club you did the disservice to join.
If you don't want to answer my questions who cares. You have shown yourself to me and others here. If your followers support you that is there right.
