Isn't the Ron Paul video a bit dated ?
The lastest news is that ammo manufacturers can not keep up with demand, prices are skyrocketing thru the roof.
An SKS thats worth about 100 bucks is going for 300 and more.
People panic so easily.
Sorry I don't have a picture or video.

Yes, it is out of control, you cannot find or buy ammo.
Some dealers have stock but you must wait weeks and pay a hefty premium.
SKS are going for $400+ and up now.... They are a nice weapon, predecessor to the AK. Just not fully auto capable. But you can bumpfire and achieve similar like results :)

Rule one don't buy anything off the internet, way over priced.
You won't catch me paying 400 for an SKS either...... no way.
I don't feel the need to join the arms race... I have what I need to get by.
I like what I see tho..... had to pass up a featherweight classic .308 last show... and a sweet western six shooter ,
.22 w/mag cylinder, stag grips, vintage Hawes.
Just can't afford it.
Got all the knives I need too BabyEagle.......
What I want is the helicopter.
Don't need the dog, got some of those already.
If you think that dog is brave you should have seen my buddies dog Ardvark riding on the back of his motor cycle.
Its a hot day today, thinking of heading to the river bank with the hounds.
Later.

I was going to say if it was a REAL working Shepherd he'd a been piloting the chopper...
Sorry if this don't fit into a gun/anti-gun thread... I've a couple 22 rifles, once had a Ruger 22 convertable revolver... but other than shooting some soda cans, a persistant raccoon in my chicken house, and a beloved goat that a dog had savaged I haven't had to do a lot of shooting. (and for those who cringe @ the last... it was put her out of absolute agony now, or wait for over an hour and listen to her gasp for every breath ...until a Vet could wake up in the middle of the night and get to her with a needle. it was a horrible thing to have to do... but I'd do it again if I had to.)
