Now I'm really confused. I have been giving heart guard to my aussie for 9 years, doesn't it have ivermec in it?
Thank you for the warning.

In regard to Ivermec in certain breeds, it is fact that certain breeds have a gene mutation that causes some very bad reactions if given ivermec. There has been much debate about this for MANY years. Every collie, sheltie, aussie breeder I know does not use ivermec for anything in their dogs. Origianally, we were always told, if it has white feet, no ivermec. We never gave it to these breeds in rescue or at the shelter.
