Hiya :)
Everyone is pretty much doing fine. 1 little female, who was also the tiniest one born, isnt doing as well as the others, she is slow going putting weight on so I have decided to continue to take her back and forth to the shop with me.3 others are also still thinner than I would care to see, but the other 4 are fat little teddies. I dont think mom has much milk, there never seems to be much when the pups nurse so I am still feeding the pups. They get Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers soul soaked semi-soft with water, then Goats milk is added and further soaked to really soften to a much y consistancy. I then add a can or 2 of Nutro Max Puppy, The best brand the TSC carries here. I feed them this 3 x a day, I would rather feed it more often but I am not home during the day.
I think I am going to stop off at the vet on my way in this morning and have him run a culture on the littliest one, for some eason I have a nagging suspicion of coccidiosis, no real reason why, they havnt been exposed that I know of. They did have worms tho sothey went thru a course of panacur.hmmmm I used to be able to get the albon at the feed store, I might stop by and check and get some.
Off to work, only grooming today but I have 11 dogs booked, busy day! Tomorrow I am OFF!! TG!! Well, I get to work on all the housework I didnt do during the week LOL

sounds like you're doing everything right. For the thinner pups, give them nutrical straight from the tube - let them have as much as they want several times/day. It is easily digested and full of calories and nutrients and may give them the boost they need. It is possible their gut can't handle the milk protein anymore, try taking the goat's milk out of the puppy food mixture. Take a stool sample to the vet to check for worms and coccidea, or just treat all the puppies with Albon just in case cocci is a problem (it often is). Probios can help also - either in powder supplement or give a tablespoon of real yogurt in their food every day.
