4pack Your so right. Then the Orijen/Canine Complete program is for you You won't believe the difference it will make in your dogs Check out the customer feedback section at www.thewholisticpet.com Canines Complete's website Hard to believe but from my personal experience it is better than they say it is.
Yellowrose If your interested in National or Canidee I'd contact the company directly as both have breeders programs. I'm not aware of the paticulars but its worth a look see. Canine Complete also has a breeders program and with all your dogs I'm positive you will qualify. I don't know if Orijen has a breeders program or what. You might as well try and work every angle. Best of luck to you

Meat based food is what i feed 4-5% soaked rolled oats for fibre whole fresh rabbit skin left on, chicken wings, tripe, raw fish, egg white, and a little mashed raw veg, vitamin c, salmon oil, this is alternated over the week to give good variation. Man when you see a dog one paw holding a rabit down while ripping away and crunching the soft bones it's the most natural way of feeding and they love it. Before you say it I know off dogs that choke on kibble eating to fast, but those same dogs fed whole rabit slow down.

The problem being Im in Texas and these companies are not locally distributed to any one near enough to me....Now Canidea is somewhere in Texas because I just sold a pup to a lady in Joshua , Tex and she has fed Candidea , so Dallas but I cant depend on a mule to deliver it and wow what a pain....I dont know how to operate on a monthly basis and no where to safely store dog dfoods in large quantity.,,,,,,8 bags a week and sometimes goes over to the next , and I have the space to store, just dont have a method of keeping mice and varments out of it and then its the trouble of me carrying it or opening it and maintaining it to my use for everyday feeding...I have a vertibrea problem that I try not to lift so I can live each day painfree and not hurt....my muscles hurt 24/7 and I just cant load and unload 400.00 -500.00 worth of dog food....Ill research to see how to get it to me ,,,,Ive already checked Tyler and no one carries it avoderm is a consideration and its 38.00 a bag If I spend that money on dog kibble , I cant buy meat,,,,,,,meat is expensive tonight I bought 10 packages of necks and each was only $1.32 or similliar give or take 10 c and the liver ,,,,,10 packages of fresh not frozen 1 lb or llittle over each were from 1.23 to 1.51 each and this will only last one week...three necks and half pack liver each dog My pregnant bitches get whole pack of liver every other night......the last week before wh elping and for the next three weeks liver , yogurt and cottage cheese......and red cell....and fish caps and flax seed oil and garlic for the mosquitos.....

yellowrose You are much better to stay tight on course in what your doing. The way your feeding raw is much better that kibble. I'm sure your aware of that. Maybe you could add a supplement like Canine Complete so you will know for sure that all your dogs are getting all the nutrients that they are supposed to be getting. With the diet I'm feeding mostly a BARF diet I'm told I really dont need to add anything else but when your feeding raw you always think am I missing something important here or tthere. That's why Canine Complete is so important for me I can know for sure my dog is getting the best of everything. We used to have a jewelry dealer in Connecticut where I grew up who had a slogan POMG peace of mind guaranteed that is what Canine Complete does for me it gives me POMG

I just got an email from Orijen. I asked if they knew a good route to get some in Montana. Here is an online store that offers free shipping on orders over $50.00. Most stores I checked sold for $53.00 a bag but the s/h ended up to $83.++ a bag. They have added on a tich to the price but much more economical this way. I may get a bag to have around for those moments when I am lazy or traveling with the dogs.

Trailrider Thanks for the link I had to pay $10.95 for the Orijen to be shipped as their is none in New Hampshire not as bad as your shipping costs But free is a whole heck of a lot better. It's nice to have around in a pinch or for road trips.

This Orijen sounds interesting. We've had good luck with what we use but I may have to try one bag for the one with alergies.

Has anyone tried the new Wellness Core brand???

Had lots of trouble with Evo . My 5 year old male developed imflamation of all the long bones from the protein. TOO HIGH. I feed raw with some kibble, but raw is metabolized much differently.
I alternate between Chicken Soup amd Wellness. When I do switch foods I always use yougart (sp) or some form of probiotics to ease the transition. When deploying on a mission my guys/gals get very excited..so much so that i get some loose stools. I always carry canned pumpkin in a small tupperware container. Seems to work on my kids,
Just my 2 cents worth
