To make a living writing you must first be free and there must be readers who are also free to purchase and to read what you write.
They must have jobs to afford the luxury.
You must live in a world without censorship where people with ideas are not murdered for their ideas.
It must be written on paper and published, not put on some electronic device so that all can read it forever and not depend on technology.
On the wall of a cave if nothing else.

Finally got my new glasses today after my cataract surgery.

yeah just not that motivated to post much, also got a new year resolution to purge myself of all opinion (my own that is).
hope the post surgery is working out - considered laser re-shaping of yr eyeball or contacts to avoid the glasses wearing?

Actually I must now have a Laser treatment because the surgery caused a cloudiness in the sack that holds the lense.
I only use the glasses outdoors because of the transition lenses, boating, driving, hunting,
I'm not all that motivated to post either.... swore off the usual crap, looking for something different.
I see really well now without the glasses.
