I can't get a live link, but this is the pup only three weeks ago with her kid.
Her ears are up till I speak to her, then she puts them down. She is strong and not mushy submissive. Very much drive and likjes carrying anything she can get in her mouth. No dog aggression, looks to be very well adjusted to the world.

I am SOOO glad you got her back, joanro. I'll try to make a link to the short here.
She clearly likes her kid, so her ears were up when she was playing with her. I have no doubt that the guy just didn't like her, and she knew it. How sad for the pup, and for the little girl, because the pup was obviously good with her.
Edited to add: This guy's daughter will NEVER forgive him for doing this, of course. And heaven help HER if she doesn't mature into the vision he is holding in his mind's eye of her as an adolescent, too...we all felt so awful for how bad this puppy had it with him, what his daughter will experience will make his relationship with the pup look like a love-fest. Hope the wife is stashing money away for a therapist for the daughter.

I will rest easy now.

Glad she's out of the house where they think less of her because she has soft ears. There are so many other things that can go wrong with a dog. I can't imagine giving up a PET because their ears weren't firm. Shallow as hell.

Well now she is with a person who can appreciate her for the dog she is, although I'm sure the child will miss her. I hope you can place her in a home that will love her the way you intended her to be loved.
