Just wanted to add a recent photo of Jenni's Ely. He has those amazing bed-room eyes and always such a serious look even though he's not that serious.....very intense in everything he does.

Another of Ely. This is what he does often with my other two gsds......waiting for that moment to pounce. He can wait for the longest time with that intense stare, then lighting

speed goes for the attack.

I got to say, i have done very similar breedings, more than a few years ago, and got blue pups.
Well known GSL, crossed with DDR, (more than one Grafental dog in the ped).
When i posted the pedigree, 'here', more than one person told me i was liar, didn't know my bloodlines, didn't know what I was talking about....hello....
And does the color stop them from being able to work...I think not, actually, I know not.
As i have bragged more than once, my blue dogs pup, a solid black dog, is a dual certified police k9 in NY state. He has a terrific work history.
I am still crossing my showlines to my DDR dogs. I no longer have blues, once I knew who was throwing them, I stopped them matings.

Yes Nans...Comb-over, Mohawk or Ely and now he is Ely Blu.
